Design of Oral Irrigator

The bachelor thesis is focused on design of an oral irrigator with an integrated water container with a volume of 150 ml. Emphasis was placed on ergonomics, stability, intuitive control and information about the state of the battery. The project deals with analysis of the current market, basic technical and ergonomic parameters and description of a proposed solution.

My final thesis deals with the the topic of awareness of selected respondents aged 18 - 35 years about good oral hygiene in a selected dental office. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a brief overview of dental anatomy and it's general characteristics are presented. Furthermore, the anatomy of the dentition is expanded by a brief anatomy of the periodontium. This is followed by selected oral diseases that are most commonly encountered. Dentistry as a separate discipline also encounters the myths and superstitions that are prevalent in society and at the same time the different types of prevetion - primary, secondary and tertiar - are completely related to them. The different types of prevention reflect the areas that we classify among them. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is an attempt to assess the level of knowledge and awareness of the selected respondents in a particular dental practice. The information required for the practical part of the bachelor thesis was obtained by means of questionnaire survey. The results of this research can be found in the second part of bachelor thesis. From these results, it can be seen that the awareness of the respondent sis 47 % based on the correct answers. Nursing process in patients undergoing orthognatic surgery

Orthognathic surgery is a major field of modern medicine and esthetic dentistry. It deals with surgical treatment of maxillofacial anomalies. The role of nurses in care of patients undergoing orthognathic surgery is reviewed. The aim is to provide nursing care for patients undergoing orthognathic surgery. Theoretical scope of nursing care on abovementioned issues is elaborated. As a comparison, three case reports are presented. A leaflet with recommendations for patients is to be elaborated, it may be available in the offices of orthodontists and maxillofacial surgery departments. Dental Hygiene impact on oral health guality of patients with dental implants

Dental hygiene and oral health is a topic that is currently discussed.. Dental health reflects the overall health of humans and vice versa damaged teeth can significantly reduce health and quality of life. The results clearly confirm that the largest share of the poor quality of oral health is poor oral hygiene. That's why prevention is the most effective tool, provided that the patient is properly educated and motivated to take responsibility for the state of his teeth. From my experience at Dental emergency. We know, that the reality is different. Bachelor thesis is focused on demonstrating the positive impact of dental hygiene. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and physiology of teeth, briefly describes the most important oral diseases caused by malhygiene. It introduce a possible solution of tooth loss using dental implant and prosthetics. Empirical part is divided into two parts. The first one is focused to demonstrates the positive effect of dental hygiene of patients with established dental implants. This particular group of patients was chosen on purpose, because these patients are properly and repeatedly instructed to care intensely of their implants, because the lifetime of the implant after surgery depends on their care.
